Georgia Looman is a third-year student at Carleton University pursuing a major in Journalism and a minor in Social Psychology and Personality. She is currently the Managing Editor of the Charlatan, Carleton University's independent newspaper, and VP Student Services of JSOC, Carleton University's Journalism Society.

Originally from Toronto, she has lived abroad in Japan and Belgium and plans to travel to every continent. Her favourite articles to write are long-form features exploring topics such as gender, sexuality, feminism, culture and international affairs.

    Georgia is working towards becoming a journalist, magazine writer, editor or producer, and is always looking for cool opportunities.
